Dimapur Royals Cricket Club wins Inter-Club One-day League

Dimapur, June 19 (EMN): Dimapur Royals Cricket Club lifted the first I. Photo Awomi Inter-Club (A Division) One-day League; organised by Dimapur District Cricket Association at the Nagaland cricket stadium. Dimapur Royals defeated Esta Warriors by 64 runs in the final.

Dimapur Royals after winning the toss elected to bat first and scored 181 runs losing 9 wickets in 30 overs.

Puchu high scored with 62 runs while Sedezhalie and Nagaho scored 32 runs each.

Along, Sunil, and Hem captured two wickets for ESA Warriors.

Chasing a target of 182 runs to win, ESA Warriors could muster only 117 runs losing eight wickets in 30 overs.

Vayu and Tejosel were the main contributors for ESA Warriors with 31 and 25 runs.

Jonathan and Nagaho took three wickets apiece for Dimapur Royals.
