Dimapur, Jan. 10 (EMN): Noting that certain tribes are yet to submit their GB representatives, the Dimapur District GBs’ Association (DDGBA) has requested those tribes to submit the same on or before January 19.

In a joint statement, the association president, Tokuho Suhoi Neho, and the general secretary, T Kenneth Tsopoe, have particularly requested the tribes from Angami, Rengma, Khiamniungan, Pochury, Kachari, and Kuki submit their GB representatives within the stipulated time.

It mentioned that DDGBA, in its meeting held on January 10, had resolved to hold election/ selection of its office bearers on January 22 for the tenure 2019 – 2024. It informed that DDGBA would issue nomination paper on January 19 and the same should be submitted on January 21 between 10 am and 12 noon.

It further stated that the venue for election/ selection would be notified later.
