Dimapur District Badminton Association’s coaching camp underway

Dimapur, July 28 (EMN): The Dimapur District Badminton Association (DDBA) with the support of senior players is conducting a summer coaching camp at the DDBA Indoor stadium, United colony in Dimapur.

According to an update received here on Sunday, the objective of the camp is to tap the potential of budding players and give them training to improve their skills. It also aims at developing competitive spirit among young and budding players so that they can compete at higher levels in the future and bring laurels to the state.

The camp is currently underway and around 18 players are taking part. The camp is being conducted in three categories; U-9, U-11 and U-13. Players will be selected after the camp to represent Dimapur district in the forthcoming 43rd Nagaland Inter District & State Open Badminton Championship 2019 to be held in Zunheboto during the last part of September.
