Dimapur, July 5
Families cutting across caste, creed, religion or tribes residing in Dimapur for 35 years or more have formed a forum with its nomenclature ‘Dimapur Concerned Citizens’ Forum (DCCF) on July 4. The forum which is apolitical in nature was formed to work for betterment of Dimapur and Dimapurians.The forum has elected Joseph Sumi as chairman, Tsenthungo Lotha and I Pihoto Awomi as vice chairmen, Harish Adyanthaya and Kuhoi Zhimo as joint secretaries, Kevi Zakiesato as treasurer. The advisors are HK Khulu, L Vikato Sema, Ao Chuba, Nungja Aier and Lanu Longchar with Swapan Paul as legal advisor. The executive members are Zakie Kire, Dharmeshwar Kachari, Thoyba Rongmei, Rajkumar Dey, Shankardeep Borkotoky, Chopathung Lotha, Virender and Atozo Peseyie.
Informing this in a press release, the forum general secretary, Timir Chodhury said the forum is open to expansion of the body and looked forward for more bonafide citizens to join in the organization.
