Dimapur, Jan. 11: The deputy commissioner of Dimapur Kesonyu Yhome convened a meeting today, January 11, in the conference hall of the DC office.
The meeting was held in connection with preparations of the coming Republic Day celebrations. Various works assignments were given to different government departments.
During the meeting, the officers were informed that parade rehearsal would commence from the 18th of January. Taking the opportunity, that the head of departments were present during meeting, Kesonyu Yhome reminded that the retreat programme held in the evening was very much part of the national event. He requested all the heads of departments and government employees to attend the afternoon session, winding up the day with the retreat.
Further, Kesonyu Yhome sought the services of the officers with regard to the civic polls for which hectic preparations are on. The administrator reminded that the first round of training for all the polling officials would commence on the 12th at Dimapur College.
Also, he asked the officers to ensure that their staffers whose name have been listed for ‘election process’ to carry out their assignments and not to request for replacement.
