DFL: Wins for FC Alianza and P Vizheto FC on day-3

Dimapur, Sep. 21: FC Alianza thrashed United F and S 5-0 on day-3 of the ongoing Dimapur Football League (DFL) season 1 at the Dimapur District Sports Council (DDSC) stadium in Dimapur on Fri. Sep. 21.
The first goal was scored by Aben of FC Alianza in the 30th minute of the first half. The second goal was scored by Lainang Konyak in the 38th minute of the second half followed by a third goal scored by Nungsang in the 39th minute.
The fourth and fifth goal was scored by Aben and Khangkimni Pamei in the 51st and 60th minute making FC Alianza emerge victorious in the first match of the third day.
Before the commencement of the second match, a short programme was conducted where one of the organising committee members, Honko Konyak, deliberated a speech for the players. He encouraged them to play with all they have so that the Nagas can be recognised throughout the world.
The match patron of the day was an entrepreneur Samuel Shohe. He motivated the team to play at their best and hope that the platform provided by the organisers will bring many upcoming talented players within Dimapur and the nation.
In the second match of the day, P Vizheto FC defeated Dorians Society 4-0.
Kakhevi of P Vizheto FC was the first player to score a hat-trick in the DFL. Two consecutive goals were scored during the 6th and 35th minute of the first half. The third goal was scored by Apeto in the 59th minute of the second half.
P Vizheto FC overpowered Dorians Society with a final hat-trick goal by Kakhevi in the 69th minute of the second half.
Matches on Day-4 of the DFL will be played on Saturday Sep. 22. The first match will be played between Chanan FC and Ekhyo FC at 1 pm followed by Titan SCC against A1 Power Play Club at 3:30 pm.
