Diphu, March 18 (EMN): A dead body identified as Devanand Kumar Shah (25) of Dimapur Army Supply Road, Dimapur, Nagaland, was found on March 17 morning around 8:30 from 24 KM, Lumding road, Tisso village, Borlangpher under Borlangpher Police Station in Karbi Anglong district.
According to sources the deceased with his Maximo Magic Pick-up van (No. AS09C-9224), on March 16, was hired from Dimapur to Lumding Railways station for collecting betel nuts. As per his family member, they could contact him in the evening of March 16 around 5 pm and after that he could not be contacted. Villagers of Borlangpher found a dead body lying and informed the police of Borlangpher police station of Karbi Anglong district. The deceased Maximo Magic Pick-up van was also stolen.
The deceased body was brought to Diphu Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
