Daily power-cuts in five upper districts of Nagaland

Dimapur, Dec. 19 (EMN): The establishment of executive engineer, Mokokchung transmission division of the department of Power has informed that rationing of power distribution in the five districts of Mokokchung, Tuensang, Mon, Zunheboto and Longleng will continue for an unspecified period. “This is for the kind information to all esteemed electricity consumers under 5 districts of Nagaland namely Mokokchung, Tuensang, Mon, Zunheboto and Longleng that due to power shortage in the Grid, load shedding has been imposed for one hour each in the morning and evening. The load shedding will continue till the power situation improves and the load shedding hours may even increase if the power shortage in the Grid increases. All affected electricity consumers are requested to kindly bear with the situation,” read a press release from the department on Tuesday.
