Customers request NStCB to install more ATM in Kohima

Dimapur, Nov. 01 (EMN): Customers have suggested Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NStCB) to open more ATM booths in the state capital. The suggestion was put forth during the business meet in commemorations of bank’s golden jubilee, at Kohima main branch on Oct. 30. The meeting was sponsored and financed by the Government of Nagaland.
Addressing the business summit, Chief Manager NStCB Jonah Sumi of Kohima Main Branch said that the bank which started with one branch in Dimapur will be completing 50 years on Nov. 10 at Dimapur. He informed that there are 21 branches across the state. He also thanked well wishers and customers of the bank.
Vice Chairman BOD NStCB Kekhwengulo Lea, in his address appreciated the banking staff for carrying good works in the state, adding that the bank is the only bank in the state which is reaching far and near across the state and helping the farmers. He also informed that the bank is also competing with commercial banks and be able to sustain on its own for which he thanked the state government for assistance.
BOB NStCB T Abao Kire said that the bank has come a long way and now ready to celebrate the golden jubilee and the bank was able to compete with multi nationalised bank in the state.
Former MD NStCB Sedehol Sale also shared his experience with the bank, which he served from 1974 till his retirement 2007 and also congratulated the bank to celebrate the golden jubilee.
NABARD AGM Bendang lauded the NStCB in partnering with NABARD for carrying out various activities in the state.
The function was chaired by ABM Kevi Hibo, invocation prayer by Pastor, 1st AG Church, Kohima Rev. Dr.TR Angami, while welcome address was delivered by FO Keduseho Sale, and BM NStCB HSJ branch PP Bose proposed vote of thanks.
