Dimapur, March 15 (EMN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee has decided to field former chief minister of Nagaland, KL Chishi for the Lok Sabha seat and Alemjongshi Longkumer for Aonglenden assembly constituency.
As per latest standings, Chishi will go head-to-head against former colleague and incumbent NDPP’s Lok Sabha MP, Tokheho Yepthomi. Longkumer will be facing the NDPP’s Sharingian Longkumers for the Aonglenden seat.
The Naga People’s Front is yet to declare its candidates; or even the party’s intention to contest both the elections.
