Dimapur, August 22 (EMN): The Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) while extending its support to the August 25 rally, being initiated by ACAUT at Supermarket Dimapur, extended all possible cooperation for the cause.

“The time has come for every Nagas to introspect and retrospect to bring change in our land today for the sake of the coming generations. It is about time for every Nagas to come together and to eradicate the malady of corruption which has entrenched deeply and engulfed the whole society. Nagas cannot keep on fooling ourselves believing that change will happen by itself. It is only we Nagas who alone can bring change in our land. Nagas are no longer at the crossroads but on the edge and we are losing out time. Unless we all realize the past mistakes and amend it our young generations are never going to forgive us and we are heading for a doom,” stated Media Cell CNTC.

We all have to take a part of our share for the present mess and cannot blame only some section for all these disorder, it added.

The CNTC appealed every right thinking Nagas to support the ACAUT’s cause and to stand together in bringing a change in the land infested by chronic corruption and massive misgovernance in every area of the society as it is the responsibility of all.

PSAN: The Public Service Aspirants of Nagaland (PSAN) has extended its support to the upcoming rally on August 25, being organised by ACAUT to raise a common voice against misgovernance and ills that plague Nagaland.

“With corruption at its highest possible rate and misgovernance at its worst possible state, the time has come for the public to raise a voice against the misdoings and insensitive attitude of the government towards the plight of its citizens” the PSAN stated.

It is of great importance, especially for the youth, to come out of the confines of their homes and make their painful cries heard by the authorities, the release added.

The PSAN encouraged and invited all the right thinking citizens of Nagaland in general and the civil service aspirants in particular to make their presence felt at the peaceful rally with utmost seriousness and zeal.

ASUD: The Ao Students’ Union Dimapur (ASUD) has reaffirmed its unflinching support to the rally being called on August 25 by ACAUT.

In a release issued by ASUD president, Lanutoshi Aier and general secretary Moayanger Jamir, encouraged every right thinking Naga youth to be an agent of change by joining the “public revolution” spearheaded by ACAUT. “At the time when our state is crippled by numerous crises, it has been rightly observed that we cannot afford to complain from within the confines of our homes while allowing rampant corruption to take place right in front of our eyes. Time has come again for the voice of the people to resonate throughout Nagaland. We have tolerated enough and our conscience no longer allows us to remain disgruntled spectators,” stated the press release.

Keeping this in mind, the ASUD reminded all its village and sub-units to attend the aforementioned rally along with their members without fail.

DAABAPF: The Dimapur Area Ao Baptist Arogo Pastors’ Fellowship (DAABAPF) has appreciated the ACAUT for organising the public rally on August 25, against corruptions and misrule in the State.

In a press note, DAABAPF president, Rev. I. Zülu Jamir and secretary, Rev. Dr. Temjen Ozüküm, said it is needless to start that the state is passing through the most turbulent period wherein all the public are confronting with untold miseries and hardships.

They also stated that speaking from the pulpit is not enough for the Church to cleanse the State both physically and spiritually. The DAABAPF appealed to all the public to attend the rally.
