Dimapur, March 23 (EMN): The Christ King Higher Secondary School, conducted its annual sports from March 20 to 22 with Akumla Chuba, NCS, Director, Youth Resources and Sports as the special guest on the inaugural day.
In her speech, Chuba stressed on the importance of discipline and to learn from both success and failure.
As sports person encounters success and failure too, it is important to know how to handle it, she added. Sports bring people together, so we should learn to live together and respect one another with all our differences in a pluricultural world. No sports person is above the rules of the game, likewise we should all learn to play a fair game in all stages of life, said Chuba.
The sports day preparation began with a half cross country race that was held on the March 9.
The sports week concluded on the March 22 with red house emerging as the overall champions and blue house as runners-up followed by yellow and green house.
