Chang area ‘bandh’ lifted

Dimapur, Jan. 7 (EMN): The Chang Khulei Setshang (CKS) has called off the ‘bandh’ in Chang jurisdiction following the Nagaland state cabinet’s decision to allow Noklak village council and Chingmei village council decide the inclusion of Chingmei range villages under Noklak district prior to the government marking down boundaries. A CKS press release on Sunday informed about the suspension of said ‘bandh’. However, it cautioned that the ‘bandh’ would be resumed ‘any time’ if the state cabinet ‘fails to exercise’ its decision.
