Chang affirms support to CM

Dimapur, Dec. 15 (EMN): In the backdrop of December 13 fiasco at Hotel De Oriental Grand, advisor of Planning and Coordination CM Change stated that he had attended the proposed meeting with full faith on the recent reconciliation without any knowledge of some senior legislators to dislodge the chief minister. In a press release issued to media houses today, Chang has affirmed support to the leadership of the chief minister TR Zeliang and to work together for the welfare of the State. Narrating the incident, Chang said he received a phone call from three senior legislators while he was on his way to the office informing him about the meeting at Hotel De Oriental Grand. All the while on his way to the hotel, Chang said he was of the opinion that the meeting was called by the chief minister and the NPF party president in the light of the recent reconciliation. On reaching the hotel, he found some legislators already seated and subsequently realised that the gates were locked and his car keys seized. Chang said he was totally ignorant about the hidden agenda to dislodge the chief minister. In the light of the above stated circumstances, Chang categorically clarified his position stating he attend the proposed meeting with full faith on the recent reconciliation without knowing the intention of some senior legislators to dislodge the chief minister. Meanwhile, he has affirmed support to the leadership of the chief minister and to work together for the welfare of the people.
