Chakhesang public affirm on clean election

Dimapur, March 14 (EMN): Chakhesang clean election movement (CCEM) reaffirmed to uphold its clean election guidelines while it also resolved to pressurise the concerned authority to clean defective electoral rolls.

The resolution to this effect was taken during a meeting of Chakhesang clean election movement (CCEM) with all the church denominations, Chakhesang public organisation (CPO) and its frontal organisations comprising the Chakhesang mothers’ association (CMA), Chakhesang youth front (CYF), Chakhesang students’ union (CSU), and Phek district GBs’ union (PDGBA) on March 14 in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

The house also resolved to organise a common platform for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Meanwhile, CCEM convenor Dr. Kuzhopoyo has requested the churches of all denominations to hold a special prayer on March 31 for clean election. CCEM further reaffirmed to continue educating the church members and public to exercise their voting rights by adhering with the clean election guidelines.
