Dimapur, Jan 10: Chakhesang Christian Revival Church Children Association (CCRCCA) held its 9th general session from January 6 to 8 at Sodzulhou Christian Revival Church, 6th Mile, Dimapur, on the theme ‘Living in God’s light.’

A total of 1300 delegates from 22 churches comprising Phek, Kohima, Peren and Dimapur district attended the session on the final day. The main speakers were Dr. Adela Mero, administrator of Rainbow Academy, Resource Centre, and Ms Rokosano Koza, Associate Pastor, CCRC (Upper PWD), Kohima.

The Association also organised the ‘evening melodies’- a musical programme on Saturday evening with Chotisuh Sazo, Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, as the honoured guest in aid of CCRCCA office construction. The jam-packed crowd was enthralled by the special appearance of Nagaland Singing Ambassadors, Zenith Band, Ado Kezo, Vevo Ringa, Lhiwe-ü Rabvo and Tali Angh.

On January 8, 27 Sunday school children were baptised by Rev. Zhowhüyi Nyekha.

Meanwhile, the Association has thanked all delegates, participants and host church for making the session a memorable and successful one. A new team under the presidentship of Wekhrope Marhu was also installed for the tenure 2017 – 2019.”
