IMPHAL, Dec. 8: The 59th Sir Churachand Singh KCIS, CBE Memorial Football Tournament, popularly known as CC meet in the region that was started from Sunday, begins to attract the football lovers to watch the talented players of different districts on its 5th day today. In the first match of the day at Mapan-Kangjeibung ground in Imphal, FC Zalen Sadar hills trounced YUFC Ukhrul 5-1.
The scorers of FC Zalen are Patrick, Paolenlal, Lallenmang and Bedumpar while the lone scorer of YUFC was Thangsomi.In the second match, KLASA Keinou defeated MAC Sadar hills in Senapati 4-2 goals.
The scorers of KLASA are Lanminthang,Samson and Sushil while the two goals of MAC was netted by Ginminthang Hangshing.Around 22 teams, including two teams from outside the State are taking part in the meet.
