Samvidhan LIVE – The Jagrik Project is an initiative of Community Youth Collective (CYC), – journey to engage young Jagriks (Jagruk Nagrik – Aware Citizens) between the ages of 16 to 30 years in different parts of the country to experience the Constitution.
Samvidhan LIVE – The Jagrik Project, is building young people’s capacities for meeting this challenge as they refl-act (reflect+act) in the real world. Through this public initiative, young people will experience how the rights and duties in our constitution are being lived, and report back their experiences to rest of the world.
In Dimapur, CAN Youth is undertaking the campaign for two months by engaging 24 young people to involve in different activity on fundamental duty and rights besides conducting survey with the community.
CAN Youth also invite youth of Dimapur, social workers, college and higher secondary school students to take part on Common Action Day to be held on January 18 at DBDL Hall, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School campus from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be a panel discussion on ‘Role of youth participation in understanding and making our Constitution come alive.’
