Dimapur, July 7 (EMN): Telecommunication service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has assured to active 3G service and other internet facilities for ample office functioning in Peren district within a week’s time.
BSNL made this assurance at the monthly meeting of the Peren District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) on July 6 at DPDB conference hall under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner and Vice chairman DPDB, Zarenthung Ezung.The chairman welcomed the members and introduced the newly posted officers namely ADS Supply, K Tongbang Ao; DFO Forest, Dr. Sentitula; Principal of Peren Government College and TO Namreuyingto.
After thorough discussion, the Board recommended and forwarded to the concerned department for the opening of new school under the name of Tiny Star School, Ngwalwa. The house also resolved to organise mass social work at Multi Discipline Sports Complex on August 8 starting 9 a.m. in view of the forthcoming Independence Day celebration. Power Department made a power point on the departmental activities and highlighted about the free power service connection to the BPL beneficiaries under DDUGJY scheme. Labour Department, Rural Employment Department and the Excise Department also presented their departmental activities at the meeting.
