BSE, teachers give to CM’s relief fund

Dimapur, Sept. 23 (EMN): The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Sunday donated INR five lac to the chief minister’s relief fund. A cheque of the donation was handed over to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio by BSE executive Surajit Banerjee.

Likewise, the Dimapur unit of the All Nagaland Private School Association met with the chief minister and handed over INR three lac. Out of the given amount, INR 1.5 lac was meant for the chief minister’s relief fund while INR 1.5 lac was for the Kerala flood victims.

Updates on Sunday from the association mentioned that the ANPSA’s members discussed a number of issues with the chief minister relating to development of education in Nagaland.

While appreciating the donors for coming forward voluntarily, Rio expressed gratitude on behalf of the government of Nagaland and stated that all donations would be utilised for the welfare of the victims.
