Dimapur, Nov. 2 (EMN): A collection of essays titled ‘Pneuma: The Spirit of Revival’ written by Mezhusevi Zutso and students of Kohima Bible College in honour of a church leader, Rev. Neivotso Niekha, was released on Thursday by Rev. Vevozo Khamo, at the Nagaland Christian Revival Church, at Kohima town.
‘Pneuma’ explores issues of interest for Christian Revival Church (CRC) scholars, students and members, updates available on Thursday informed. The series will cover historical and biographical studies on the CRC, biblical studies on the spirit, spiritual gifts and CRC spirituality, and studies on CRC hermeneutics, theology and on revival and prophetic movements.
Mezhusevi Zutso said that the main purpose of the book was about the ‘need for CRC theology because there is a dire need to creatively reflect on CRC dogma.’ Secondly, the writers wanted to honour Rev. Neivotso Niekha and dedicated the book to him for his life and serving God and CRC community for 50 long years, it was informed.
The first essay in the book is a short biography of Rev. Dr. Neivotso Niekha and how revival came to the family, and about a man of God, powerful preacher, eloquent orator, and advisor and ‘the man who rose from the dead,’ the updates stated.
