Bollywood movie co-produced by a Naga to be released on Jan. 18

Bollywood movie ‘Little Boy,’ a U certified movie is all set to be released across the country on Fri.  Jan. 18 including Hillstar Digital Cinema, a theatre in Dimapur.

Little Boy is the first Bollywood movie to have been shot in Itanagar.

Co-produced by Rebecca Changkija Sema from Nagaland, the movie is written and  directed by Shiraz Henry , produced by Abu Tani Films and associated with Find Studioz.

“The movie is based on a true story and is also about promoting the tourism and local talented artists of Northeast India,” said Sema over a telephonic conversation with Eastern Mirror. She added that there were also a few crew members from Nagaland who had helped in shooting the entire movie.

The music is released by Zee Music singers like  Sonu Nigam, Ash king, Dev Negi, Romi Mukherjee and MDKD Desi rocks with music director Abuzar and lyricist Arafat Mehmood.

The cast includes Yajuvendra Pratap Singh, Rashmi Mishra, Shishir Sharma, Ehsaan Khan and Chuzho Zhokhoi, Rose Longchar, Zhatuo while the costume and styling were done by T Limanaro Jamir, Tovini, Kalong, Bendang Pongen and Tia Longkumer .

“This movie is really special because we have few good artists from our own Nagaland. We worked together day and night. We are happy to see responses from the audience even before the release,” the co-producer said.

Also, Sema made known that the move has a message to every common people and will inspire all age groups.
