Dimapur, July 26 (EMN): The BJP Tuensang district mandals tour led by its organising secretary Ananta Narayan Mishra which began on July 20 at Longkhim/ Chare concluded on July 24 at Noksen.
The team visited 7 mandals including 56 Noklak, 57 Thonoknyu, 58 Chessore/ Shamator, 53 Tuensang Sadar- I, Tuensang Sadar- II and 51 Noksen.
Ananta Narayan Mishra was accompanied by Hurui Zeliang, BJP spokesman; Lima Onen, secretary BJP Nagaland; and H Makum, member secretary, Legal Cell, BJP Nagaland. The district team was led by the district president and office bearers, Morcha BJYM and BJMM.
In every mandal meeting, Ananta Mishra spoke on party organisational set up with ten points to execute to prepare for the ensuing general assembly elections on war footing. He stated that BJP is a cadre based party and it strives for the welfare of the common people irrespective of caste or religion.
He also stressed on how schemes and developmental projects were not fully implemented in the State and assured that every schemes and developmental projects will reach even the most remote villages if the BJP is elected to power in the coming elections. He urged all the party workers to work two hours a day for the party and appealed to the public to vote wisely by electing leaders, who will sincerely work for the welfare of the public.
Hurui encouraged the people of Tuensang to be united and stand together in bringing the BJP to power in the State.
H Makum said voters have the right to speak up to their elected leaders if their performances are not satisfactory. He requested to people to elect a leader who will understand them and deliver accordingly.
The district president also explained that the central government is interested in bringing change in each mandal. He added that Ananta Mishra has been deputed to help in achieving the goal.
