Dimapur, Nov. 30 (EMN): President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tuensang division, Thsangse Sangtam, has accepted the resignation tendered by president of 52 Longkhim-Chare mandal Hongchosing Sangtam and appointed Khumpise Sangtam as adhoc mandal president with immediate effect in consultation of the State head office.
A press release issued by State BJP Media Cell has directed the new mandal president to reconstitute the mandal executive team at the earliest.
Meanwhile, it notified to all the concerned party workers that minister of Cooperation, Relief & Rehabilitation and Chairman for MARCOFED, Imtilemba Santam, would visit Longkhim on November 28. On official tour, he would accompany the BJP MLA & Advisor of Treasury Dr. TM Lotha and host of senior BJP members.
