Dimapur, June 27 (EMN): Peren unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated three years of BJP led NDA government at Tening town auditorium.
Speaking on the theme “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas” (together with all, development for all), Matthew K Janger, BJP Peren district in-charge, said BJP led-NDA government at the centre is focused on development especially in the north eastern states. He pointed out that the district was in shamble as road connectivity and communication failed to exist at all.
Janger highlighted on how BJP led-NDA government has developed the country in three years whereas the Congress government couldn’t develop the nation when they were in power for ten years.
He has attributed non development in the district for failing to choose the right person. He urged the people to change their mindset by electing right leaders than to suffer for five years. He further appealed the general public to work together for development and do away with corruption.
The chief guest Warren Hollohon Yepthomi, ADC Tening, encouraged the gathering to be aware of various government policies, saying whatever the Prime Minister does is for the betterment of society as a whole. He thanked the Indian Oil Corporation for organising the programme at Tening.
Zanti Dumta, co-in-charge Peren district, also spoke in the programme and explained the importance of Adhaar card.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Tasile Zeliang, while the invocation prayer was said by Kitangwi Chawang, and the vote of thanks was delivered by nodal office AK Saikia.
