BJP Nagaland inducts new members from rival parties

The BJP Nagaland State Unit on Tuesday welcomed new comers from rival Congress in a special meeting held at Hotel Saramati attended by hundreds of party workers, BJP legislators, office bearers, state executive members, frontal organisations, various cells members and enthusiastic party workers from different districts across Nagaland.In a press statement the Bharatiya Janata Party media cell said that the president, BJP Dr Chuba Ao thanked the new comers from various political parties especially the Congress and the NCP Dr Chuba Ao also encouraged all the people of the state to get enrolled in the party. The President also informed the party workers that the BJP national president Amit Shah will be visiting the state. He heartily welcomed the new entrants led by Mughato Achumi ex-INC candidate 32 Atoziu, PCC member & general secretary of NPCC, Joshua Swu ex-president NPYC, Honito Achumi Rtd. SDO, Pito Achumi, cctive member NPYC, Kakivi Sumi NPYC member, Kiqheho Sumi NPYC member and Honito H Achumi, active member NPYC.
Dr. T.M Lotha BJP legislator from 38 Wokha briefed the gathering on the importance of being in the party. He also encouraged and urged the party workers to have the sense of belonging and have ownership of being in the party.
Others who spoke on the occasion include K. H. Khulu retd. Addl. Chief Secretary, Nagaland, Johnny Rengma, various ex – candidates on various issues and concerns of the party.
