Dimapur, Jan. 12 (EMN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of the 17th Chizami unit held its executive meeting on Jan. 11 at Mini Tourist Lodge, Pfutsero, with attendance of unit and frontal wing office bearers. This was informed by the group’s general secretary.
The meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of the mandal president Vetshe Tsuzuh. BJP Phek district president, Nucutso Ruho extended greetings and state executive member of Kisan Morcha, Khazi Lea invoked God’s blessing.
According to the press release, the meeting after threadbare discussion adopted the following resolution: The BJP’s 17th Chizami assembly constituency welcomes all new members from different political parties who joined the party recently; the unit reaffirms its stand to fully support its candidate; reaffirms strongly supporting the Clean Election campaign initiated by the Nagaland Baptist Church Council and the ‘CBCC’; resolves to take own course of action if anyone is found spreading ‘false allegations through print and social media against the party’; decides to appeal to the people of the constituency ‘to do away with the rumors which are being spread to confuse the mind of the public.’
The unit has called upon the citizens to step forward and join the party for ‘change and development.’
