Baghty circle supports ‘Framework Agreement’

Dimapur, Dec. 7 (EMN): Baghty Circle Village Council Union (BCVCU) has affirmed to support the Framework Agreement signed between the Government of India (Gol) and the NSCN (IM) basing on the unique history and the legitimate rights of the Nagas.
The decision to support the Framework Agreement was arrived at after an intensive meeting was held at Baghty Circle led by M Daniel Lotha, kilo secretary of GPRN on November 25. Daniel has thoroughly briefed the gathering on the Framework Agreement signed between Gol and NSCN on August 3, 2015.
In a nutshell, he stated that Framework Agreement recognised the uniqueness and identity of the Nagas, which would give unprecedented impetus for the younger generation.
He stated that people who are advocating to misguide the innocent Naga public with their improper attitude are only annihilating the bright future of the younger generation.
Following the November 25 meeting, the Baghty Circle Village Council Union, comprising of Baghty town, Soku village, Makharong village and Upper Baghty village convened an emergency meeting on December 1 wherein the house had seriously deliberated on the issue and decided to support the Framework Agreement. The union has further extended support towards the Framework Agreement and the collective leadership of the NSCN and prayed earnestly for an early solution.
