Assam Rifles conduct health camps

Dimapur, Feb. 22: 41 Assam Rifles under aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (North), conducted a medical camp on February 21 at Maova village, Dimapur.
During the camp, Assam Rifles medical team attended to 210 and gave free consultation and medicines. Villagers were also made aware of hygienic practices and preventive measures.
The free health camp was availed by Maova and neighbouring villages who have limited access to healthcare. The GB and villagers expressed their profound gratitude to Assam Rifles for conduct of the medical camp.
A related programme was conducted by 32 Assam Rifles under aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) on February 21 at Razhaphe village, Dimapur.

Medical team from Assam Rifles treated more than 589 patients during the camp. The patients were given free consultation and medicines and also made aware of hygienic practices and preventive measures.
The medical camp brought smiles and succour to villagers of Razhaphe and neighbouring villages who have limited access to healthcare. The GB and villagers expressed their profound gratitude to Assam Rifles for conduct of the medical camp.
The medical camp is yet another testimony to Assam Rifles maintaining a close and harmonious relationship with the local populace and living up to the sobriquet ‘Friends of the Northeast’.
