Army to hold defence pension adalat

Dimapur, May 19 (EMN): Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (PCDA Pension), Allahabad, has announced to hold a defence pension adalat at the Walford ground, Dimapur, on May 27 and 28 for in situ settlement of pension related grievances of the defence pensioners including defence civilians residing in the state of Nagaland and neighbouring districts of Assam and Manipur.

A defence release stated that all Nagaland state-level rally would also be conducted on May 27 for benefit of Ex-servicemen (ESM) and their families.

Defence pensioners including widows are requested to send their pension related complaints in English in duplicate by name to PG Roy, Pension Adalat Officer, Principal CDA (Pension), Draupadighat, Allahabad -211014.

The press note also informed that pensioners should mention their name, rank, regiment, army number, PPO number, details of bank with account number, name and address of the record office(s), specific grievances, date of discharge and address with mobile/telephone number.

Pensioners could also send their grievances at the e-mail address cda-allbd@nic.in and fax number 0352 – 2421873 and 2421879. Further, the pension grievances and other details are also to be submitted to the nearest Zila Sainik Welfare Office/Cell by May 22 and email to swr.directorngl@yahoo.com. The event would commence at 9 am onwards on both days while all Ex-servicemen and families are invited to attend the events on both the days.
