Dimapur, Oct. 19 (EMN): Along with the rest of the world, the Kohima Assam Rifles Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted a lecture on ‘world rabies day’ at Jotsoma Science College on Oct. 18.
The lecture focused on imparting knowledge about rabies, its prevention and causes, the AR stated in a press release.
During the lecture, precaution and action taken on dog bites were also discussed. 30 NCC cadets and one lecturer of Jotsoma Science College, Kohima attended the event. World rabies day is observed as part of an International awareness campaign throughout the world.
