Dimapur, May 12 (EMN): ‘OORJA’ under 19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament for boys and girls organised by the HQ IGAR (North) will be held from June 9 to the 19th at Kohima,.
The aim of tournament is to identify and encourage young boys and girls to develop their inherent talent in the field of football, an update from the organisers stated.
At State level it will be an open invitation tournament for football clubs affiliated with State Football Federation and teams of schools affiliated with CBSE/ IPSC or State Boards. Boys and girls born on or after Jan 1 will be eligible to participate as member of the team. A valid age proof of all the participants will be required for participation.
Tournament comes with attractive prizes which include INR 2.5 Lakhs for the champions, INR 1.5 lakhs as second prize and INR 1 Lakh for third place. Food, accommodation and transport will be provided to the teams. In addition football kit will also be given to all players.
One selected team of the state, both boys and girls will then participate in a National level tournament scheduled from 16 to 25 July 2018 at New Delhi.
