Another Diphu businessman sponsors an underprivileged footballer

Diphu, July 18 (EMN): To encourage the underprivileged talented footballer in the district, one Tanuj Mazumder, a Diphu based business-man who owns a utensil shop in the heart of Diphu town is willing to sponsor sports materials to one under privileged footballer Sarkiri Terang of Hidipi under Borjan MAC constituency.
Mazumder has given away sports materials like boots, stockings and guards to Sarkiri on Monday, July 16. Mazumder also said he will sponsor Sarkiri for one year, further he also assured if Sarkiri’s performance is better in the coming year he will continue to sponsor.

Mazumder is sponsoring Sarkiri Terang in the name of his beloved father Lt. Manik Mazumder. Talking to this reporter, Mazumder said, though he was not a tycoon he could at least assist the talented footballer from the region who cannot affort to buy football kits. We should nurture and encourage those kind of sports person in our region so that we can push our player to the next level.

We have to help each other and to encourage one in the region. Mazumder also said he has assisted one underprivileged student in the locality by paying the monthly tuition fees. Not with the huge amount but with something that can help them built up their character and personality said Mazumdar.
Earlier, Tonmoy Kar, a Diphu based businessman had offered sponsorship to one under privileged footballer Deuri Kro of Hidipi.
