DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 27
A two-day exhibition called the ‘Knowledge Exhibition’ of Delhi Public School in Dimapur commenced on Friday in the school’s assembly hall. Vice Chairman of the School Managing Committee, AK Hazarika, was the chief guest of the event.
Members of the faculty of the institution said that the exhibition of the students cover theoretical learning ‘in a practical way.’
A member of the faculty said that the knowledge exhibition covers all the subjects being taught in the class room such as science, social science, French, English, Mathematics, and physical education, among others. The participating students are from LKG to class-xii.
Approximately 100 models are being displayed at the exhibition with a special attraction being the ‘kids corner’ models prepared by students from LKG to class-iii. The exhibition also includes charts and frameworks in Hindi, Sanskrit and on fine arts, and music, among others.
Students dressed in their smart school uniforms were seen explaining and presenting their exhibits to visitors, and guests during the event.
The models portrayed during the exhibition covered various issues and topics and the world in general. A class-xii student also presented a discourse in a seminar, talking about global warming and various topics related to it.
The exhibition will conclude on November 28.
