ANHTU Phek questioned DoSE on failure to release salaries

Dimapur, March 4 (EMN): All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) Phek Unit has extend its full support to the ultimatum served by the ANHTU central body and CSS Hindi Teachers to the Department of School Education (DoSE) to release nine months pending salaries of the 1379 CSS Hindi teachers.

In the press release, unit vice-president, Vilou Krocha and information secretary, Zuveto Yhobu questioned the DoSE as to why the department failed to release the pending salaries, in spite of the ultimatum served to them by ANHTU central body and CSS Hindi teachers.

The unit also appealed to all the NGOs to support their appeal made to the department, as the aggrieved teachers were tirelessly working for the welfare of the students and general as a whole, in spite of the negligence paid by the concerned department in paying the salary in time. “This ordeal cannot be carried forward any further on humanitarian ground,” added ANHTU Peren Unit.
