Honourable Sir,

The Bible teaches us that every Government Ruler is established with the approval of God and as a Christian it is our solemn duty to pay our due respect to the rulers. Having said that I take this opportunity as a privilege and honour to state a few lines before your Respected Office.

That Sir, for the past few days there has been some communication gap among your fellow Kuki people of Nagaland for the consultation meeting of Tribal Hohos of Nagaland for the ongoing peace talk and Women Reservation Policy for ULBs, which was held in Kohima on 11th May, under your progressive Government of which the  Kuki Inpi Nagaland is yet to be invited for the discussion in the coming days for the best reason known to You.

To this, it has been recalled a very courageous and factual speech that you gave at Mimkut Festival, Molvom (Gaspani-II) on 17th Jan, 2018. Basing on the Simon Commission, while lauding the role of early Kukis in the Naga Political Scenario, you spoke of  the Kukis of Nagaland having equal right to Naga History (Nagaland Post, 18 Jan,2018). In your inspiring speech, you have stated that the Kukis of Nagaland, Our history is in Nagaland, not on any other parts of the World. This speech has again rejuvenated the flame of belongingness n togetherness in Us which have been passed down from our forefathers, fathers who have struggled, shed their sweat and precious blood along with our Other fellow and brother Naga Tribes of Nagaland for the land we truly love calling My Nagaland.

Yes, our History was, is in Nagaland and Our history will be in Nagaland. We have and we will walk and talk, toil and live with Our other Naga brothers and sisters: share our story as, “We the People of Nagaland.”

We sincerely hope and pray that you and your team continue to be a Channel of Blessing to all the Indigenous Tribes of Nagaland and to all the People who dwell and toil in Nagaland.

God Bless You Sir.

Thangjamang Misao
