Dimapur, Jan. 5 (EMN): Parliamentary secretary of CAWD and Taxes, Dr. Benjongliba Aier, has urged the youth of Japukong Range to work together in cohesion in order to face the challenges in an era of globalised competition.
Speaking at the three-day 6th Japukong Youth Organisation volleyball tournament which got underway at Yajang ‘C’ village on January 4, Aier reminded all the participants to cultivate the motto of its founding members basing on ‘Unity.’
He has suggested acquiring sustainable development basing on the principle of unity in order to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generation by integrating environmental health, economic profitability and social and economic equity.
Stating that the DAN government under the leadership of TR Zeliang has been giving importance on games and sports, he encouraged the youth to be sincere, punctual, disciplined and avoid all evil vices in order to build up their physical and spiritual life.
Aier has encouraged the players to maintain a positive attitude and have confidence to counter any hindrances to attain excellence. He has urged the participants to be disciplined and strive hard to fulfil their wishes.
