Dimapur, August 23 (EMN): All India Congress Committee (Minority Department) Observer for Meghalaya, Nagaland and Mizoram Rejaul Karim Laskar met the Moderator Elect of the Presbyterian Church of India Rev. Lalramliana Pachuau at Aizawl on Wednesday. Laskar and Rev. Pachuau had a cordial discussion on important issues where Laskar described the 45 minutes meeting as ‘courtesy call’.

Laskar also emphasised that the right to freedom of religion including the right to freely profess, practice, and propagate religion which was granted by the Constitution of India must be protected from undue encroachment. Rev. Pachuau has also expressed gratitude to Laskar for visiting the Synod.
