R Khing, and officials and village leaders inspect an area affected by rains at Kasha village in Tseminyu.

Dimapur, Sep. 16 (EMN): Advisor for V&AH and Women Resources R Khing, on Sep. 9 visited the areas affected by monsoon rains at Kasha and adjoining villages under Tseminyu.

According SDAO Tseminyu, the paddy fields measuring to 100 acres of farmland was damaged by massive landslides, affecting about 100 farmers.

The village authorities of Kasha area apprised the visiting officials about the calamity.

Advisor Khing advised the farmers to apply for relief under SDRF schemes through Tseminyu administration after verification from concerned line departments.

EAC Kevingoto Kulnuand SDAO Viwheto Thorie of Tseminyu sub-division were also present at the site.
