Dimapur, March 29 (EMN): In a letter addressed to the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Niuland, V Lovitoly Sema has asked the former to specifically mention the period – January 2014 to June 2014 – during which the CAG had reported that the ADC of Niuland had ‘fraudulently’ drawn Rs 37.99 lakh.She reasoned that the alleged “error” was committed by the previous officer, and mentioning the specific period will ensure that the integrity and public image of the present officer is not tarnished. “Action taken in this regard may kindly be intimated to this office,” the letter read.
