Kohima, August 30 (EMN): A three-day programme on Activity and Competency Learning (ACL) for primary teachers under District Mission Authority Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (DMA SSA), Kohima district, began today at SEIMAT (SCERT), Kohima.
Reader SCERT Nagaland, Thungchibemo Lotha, delivered the keynote address during the introductory session which was chaired by Coordinator of EBRC L Khel, Visato Koso, while the Assistant District Coordinator DMA SSA Kohima, Thonsenlo, delivered the welcome address.
The resource persons of the three-day training are Ruth, Primary Teacher of GPS New Ministers Hill; Peletuonuo, Trainer of Trainees (ToTs) L Khel Kohima; and ToTs Chiephobozou Peteneilhou and Kevikielie.
The topics to be covered include learning ladder logo and grouping, demonstration of ACL class, Maths, EVS and English.
Altogether, 130 teachers from 5 EBRCs are attending the training programme. The training will conclude on September 1 afternoon with SCERT Director, Khrietuo Mezhür, as special guest of the valedictory function.
