Dimapur, Nov. 13 (EMN): Governor PB Acharya has extended Ahuna greetings the Sumi community. Ahuna is a post-harvest festival celebrated by the Sumis.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the governor urged the Sumis to continue safeguarding and promoting their rich culture and traditions through the festival. He encouraged the community to work towards making “the atmosphere conducive in towns and villages for peaceful coexistence and for all round development in the state.”
