Dimapur, Oct. 23 (EMN): The accused in the attempt on the life of the proprietor of Kuda cold storage at 5th Mile Dimapur has been arrested by a Dimapur police special operation team on Oct. 23.
According to the police, the team arrested one “capt.” Hekato Chopy (34 yrs) s/o Shevikhu of Litsami village, Zbto P/A – Doyapur, Dimapur; a Aliet Haflongbar, (27 yrs) s/o late Opich of Ganeshnagar village, Doyapur, Dimapur.
Along with them, an amount of Rs. one lac., and a ‘camouflage shirt and magazine pouch’ were also said to have been found in their possession.
During interrogation, the accused Hekato Chophy, who is a cadre of the NSCN (K), has reportedly admitted to the act. On Sep. 18 L. Doulo, proprietor of Kuda Cold Storage at 5th Mile, was shot at.
