Abiogenesis wins award for Song Of Substance

Veteran rockers from Nagaland, Abiogenesis, have won an award for a music video at the second edition of Music Malt Online Fest-2016. The winners were finally announced on October 18.
A press release from the band on Saturday listed the winners of several categories: “Song of Substance Award: Voices In Kisama Abiogenesis, directed by Pritish Chakravorty (India) 2. Creative Genius Award: Strobe and Noise âMius directed by Peter Varsics (Hungary) and 3. Dream Weaver Award: Witch In Me Cicilia G Directed by Jacopo Miceli (UK).”
‘Voices In Kisama’ premiered on VH1 India Rules on May 23, 2015. It is an instrumental piece with the two new Indian bamboo musical instruments called the Bamhum and the Tikzik, the press release stated.
