AAP to contest in the ensuing state elections

Dimapur, Dec. 19 (EMN): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced to contest the forthcoming State general election by focusing on uplift of education and health sector in the State.

This announcement was made by AAP Political Affairs Committee (PAC) member Ashutosh while briefing the media persons at Hotel Saramati on December 18. Stating that Nagaland has border issue which is sensitive from the national perspective, Ashutosh has assured to make Nagaland as a model state.

“Nagaland should reject corrupt politicians and opposition alliance. AAP is here not to do politics but to change the system by endorsing clean candidates with no criminal past. We welcome honest candidates from other political parties and women candidate,” asserted Ashutosh.

He announced that AAP would announce names of the candidates in the first week of January 2018 by focussing on three positive things- to free Nagaland from corruption, candidates with no criminal past and tainted candidates.

Ashutosh also affirmed that AAP was committed in bringing about improvement of road and education especially in medical colleges in the state.

PAC member Sanjay Singh has committed to repair Nagaland roads within one year if given an opportunity to form government in the state. He has further assured to provide development free from corruption.

“Nagaland is facing lots of problem where the state education system is at its worst, with poor road condition and health system. AAP will make a manifesto where all this issue will be included,” affirmed Singh.

A search committee has also been constituted to select candidates with good reputation for the ensuing State general election including AAP Nagaland convenor Dr. S Amos Longkumer, Sushil Kumar, Akavi N Zhimomi, Akheli Sumi and Dr. L Chuhwanglim. The committee would be assisted by AAP PAC members Ashutosh and Sanjay Singh.
