Dimapur, Jan 10: As a part of the mission, Anglers Association Nagaland (AAN) will be conducting Mission Clean Water Body campaign on January 14, 9 a.m. at Chathe River, New Chumukedima village.

The main objective of this Mission is to help in maintaining integrity and overall health of the water bodies throughout India by launching a cleanliness drive of freshwater resources along with associated catchment areas spearheaded by the Angling community of India.

Mission Clean Water Body is the initiative of All India Game Fishing Association (AIGFA)

Along with the affiliated district units, New Chumukedima Village Council will be joining the programme by participating in the campaign. AAN requested the people to join and support the cause in drive to protect river systems.

There will be a brief introductory function, followed by tree plantation, cleanliness banner campaign along the Chathe River stretch.
