5th edition of NE music fest. in Dimapur on July 5

Rocklore 2018, the 5th edition of the Northeast Indigenous Music Festival will be held at Don Bosco Institute Ac Hall in Don Bosco School compound on July 5 from 6 pm onwards.

An update from the organisers issued on June 24 mentioned that the Rocklore would be held by the conglomeration of top-notch bands from the region.

The date is said to be fixed during the world cup break while the entry is said to be free.

This year’s line up for the festival is said to be Ambush (Diphu), Fiddlecraft (Pune), Wine O’Clock (Guwahati), Shape A Shade (Dimapur), TuneUp Channel (Mokokchung), Frozen Heart (Dimapur), Brainstorm Island (Kohima) and Abiogenesis (Dimapur). Two more artists to be announced, one each by Songdew (New Delhi) and ICCR Shillong.

Songdew TV, the new satellite Indie Music TV channel is said to cover the festival.

NEFFMF is brought by Abiogenesis Society with support from North East Council, Shillong.
