Dimapur, March 25 (EMN): In its earnest endeavour to promote sports culture, 44 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) extended support to Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) for smooth conduct of its 5th Annual Sports week from March 7 to 9, 2017.
The three day-long event witnessed enthusiastic and active participation from the College students wherein Col KS Kataria, Commandant 44 Assam Rifles graced the closing ceremony as the guest of honour.
He took the opportunity to motivate the youth to bring up their talent at National and International levels and also to join the Armed Forces on the basis of their Sports talent and avail better opportunities.
