Dimapur, March 20 (EMN) : The 38 Wokha assembly constituency BJP mandal has condemned what it described as post poll violence in which one of the party’s supporter, Renthungo Humtsoe was allegedly assaulted by NPF 38 A/C supporters on March 16 night while the victim was parking his vehicle at his residence in NST colony Wokha.
In a condemnation note, the vice president BJP 38 A/C mandal, R. Phyochamo Humtsoe stated that on the same night around 10 p.m, “the same gang went to the residence of Peter Humtsoe, general secretary, with the same intention to assault him but he was not at home”.
The party in its condemnation described the incidents as “inhuman” and stated that even if there were issues the same can be settled amicably.
