Unique Nagas and the inimitable Naga dishes

THÜVÜ GAPHA- Chakhesang Special Dish

is an arts student doing 6th semester at Eastern Christian College, Dimapur. She had attended several cooking and baking training, her area of interest in cooking is naga and Chinese dishes..

Chicken with Grounded Rice: (THÜVÜ GAPHA)

INGREDIENTS:
1. 1kg Chicken cut into desired pieces
2. Salt to taste
3. 7/8 cloves of garlic, 100 grams of ginger grounded
4. Black peppercorns (grounded, small amount)
5. Water around 1 ½ liters
6. 10 grams of green chillies
7. Local grounded rice 1 ½ small cup
METHOD
Boil the chicken for around 20-25 minutes at 1 ½ liter water, then take out the meat and place it in a bowel later, put the local grounded rice and stir continuously for at least 5-7 minutes (till it thickens). Now add the needed ingredients, salt, black peppercorn, garlic, ginger and 10 grams of green chilli. Cook for five minutes add the chicken and cook for another 20 minutes.
